I'll probably go more into this in the next update but in this universe catching wild pokemon is equal to illegal hunting irl. I feel like Tyson and Kitkat make a great brother pair since they both have their weird horns going on lol. I consider him my second starter since I got him before the actual game started. Pokemons house I ended up finding a nest ball so I was like? Does that mean the challenge started already? I decided I would count my next encounter as my final encounter for route 30 (but not count route 29 encounters on my way back since I wouldn't have any pokeballs) and luckily I managed to catch Tyson with just one ball. The title is like a triple joke because Gold is trying to get rich quick but also I'm rushing this whole comic. As of writing this I haven't actually beaten the game yet, so ig it could end up being way shorter than that.Īlso the art will be very half assed all the way through sorry. Other than that, my main goal is to actually finish this comic (lol) in around 30 or so pages, so the pacing will probably be quite fast (btw by "finish" I mean the Johto stuff I don't plan on doing Kanto).
Since the gyms will have randomized typings and all the trainers have random names, I will be making up some gym leader OCs based on the randomized results.įor the overall plot ig I'm following the story beats of the game, but there'll be some changes to fit within the context of my world building. I know random abilities can feel pretty wacky but to me, abilities really add to a mons personality and in my hc every mon would have its own ability unrelated to what species they are. Which is why this time I actually sat down and tinkered with the settings to get a pretty immersive experience, which still gives me the opportunity to use some (or at least fight some) unusual mons. I wanted to make a randomized hgss nuzlocke comic about 2yrs ago, however, since that was the first time I ever used a randomizer, it was a complete mess.
